Ice Cream For Love!: Gone Phishing

In the world of the god planets, there exists a group of spirit-like beings that prey upon the emotions of the living through their dreams. However, there are limits to feedings on one target. Feelings do deplete, and while they do come back after a while, this limitation brings up logistical concerns, particularly needing multiple food sources lined up. For them, the most efficient targets are the beings consumed with a clawing, devoted yet desperate and obsessive love. Such feelings are near bottomless, unlikely to deplete from one or even multiple feeding sessions.

In this mini-spinoff of the “Ice Cream For Love!” storyline, you play as one of these emotional vampires who’s drawn across the planes toward a fresh new prey: Malakai, a young human who’s only recently coming to terms with his budding feelings. It should be straightforward enough to milk him for all his emotions when you appear as the beloved bearfolk of his heart.

But with high rewards come high risks. Will you be able to play a convincing role and eat your fill, or will you flub and be smited within the realm of his dreamscape when he discovers that you’re an imposter?

Ice Cream For Love: Gone Phishing was created for the 2025 Dialogue Jam.
